● Identify, design and implement technical solutions as part of the ongoing platform engineering, including scaling, efficiency and performance tuning.
● Contribute to technical design discussions to ensure optimal solutions are achieved.
● Work in a highly collaborative Engineering team to complete assigned work, showcase progress and address problems that are sophisticated and often non-routine.
● Work closely with Product Owner to ensure requirements are clearly defined, tickets meet Door and DoD criteria.
● A good level of software & application development experience, with exposure to ITIL fundamentals in an enterprise environment.
● Strong hands-on programming skills in Java / JavaScript (Spring, Spring Boot, Node JS) Or .Net / JavaScript / React JS.
● You have a good level of experience in Cloud-native environments, cloud platforms, and APIs, preferably on AWS.
● You understand the potential of microservices; even better, you have a working knowledge of this environment.
● Ability to query relational databases across multiple data sources – e.g., T-SQL, SQL or Oracle
● A good understanding of how applications are promoted from development into production and the key risk points impacting an application support operation – i.e., the SDLC.
● Hands on experience in using Jenkins, Git, GitHub, and AWS CLI.
● Appreciation of automation and tooling to support application workflows and maintenance.
